Independent Typography and Design Projects
I have developed skills in typography and design largely through my academic coursework. I view these skills as an essential component to my repertoire of abilities. I mastered general principles of design (i.e., hierarchy, chunking, etc.), manipulated text in space, produced models for package design, collaborated within teams to complete projects, delivered projects according to set design criteria, and other relevant activities.
I created a mockup using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, redesigning the shredded cheese packaging of the company Kraft. My team and I redesigned the packaging to be more eco friendly and intuitive to use.
